Ron

Ron is Poppy's Haunter, and the eighth she acquired during the Paldea Arc.

Personality

Ron is one of Poppy's goofier members. The other members have their goofy moments, but Ron really lives for the comedy. He particularly enjoys pulling pranks, but ever since the Dream Eater incident with Donut, has since pulled back on using Dream Eater and causing intentionally harmful pranks. He particularly doesn't enjoy when his pranks accidentally cause harm, as he thinks it means he is incapable of change after all. Poppy's still getting used to having him around, but she was ultimately willing to let him on, so it's a start.

Backstory

Originally, Poppy encountered Ron as a wild Gastly who liked to pull pranks by using Hypnosis and Dream Eaters to show people others' dreams. However, when he decided to add Nightmare to the mix for Donut, it ended up revealing his backstory to them. After the incident, he decided to better himself, and evolved into Haunter. He then followed Poppy all the way to Kalos to join her team.
