Shadow (Poppy)

Shadow is Poppy's Absol, and the sixth she acquired during the Paldea Arc.

Personality

Shadow has made a lot of mistakes throughout his life. First, it was going on a killing spree of those that were 'evil' - except he doesn't know, looking back, how many were innocent. Then, it was not accepting Poppy and her Pokemon for who they were. Shadow is nothing like Poppy's other mons - he rarely smiles, is more intimidating, but, as he and Poppy, and her Pokemon have come to realize, that's okay. All they ask of him is that he accepts others for who they are, the same way they've accepted him. And no, he doesn't sing. But he can lead a chant.

Battle Strategy

Shadow mainly relies on using moves such as Night Slash to cut up his opponents. He is also capable of using Shadow Claw and Play Rough for coverage (though he reckons using Play Rough makes him look dumb).
