The Spirit Games are a competition set up by Ghost types in the Spirit World to give humans and Pokémon alike a second chance of life. While the kind of game can vary based on the game master, the prize for the winners is either being reincarnated as an egg or as a Ghost type. The losers, however, are forced to move on to the afterlife.
