History

Ian and Totoro first met on Route 12 in the Kanto Region. Totoro was taking a nap in the middle of the road (you know, like you do). Totoro rolls over when Ian and Piku-chan sit next to him, causing Totoro to crush the trainer and his Pokémon accidentally. After rolling over onto Ian and Piku-chan, a wandering trainer named Des appears and plays the Poké Flute melody on his guitar, waking Totoro up. Des then uses his Capture Styler to befriend Totoro and test Ian's worthiness of befriending the Snorlax. Totoro battled Ian's Oshawittle, and in the end, Oshawittle ended up victorious. Des releases Totoro for Ian to catch. Ian successfully catches Totoro and they've been pals ever since.
