Axel has a dry wit and a sharp tongue, and is not afraid to use either. This hellhound Pokémon is snarky, sarcastic, and disdaining, and is far from afraid to speak his mind. He can back up his words in a fight as well- especially if he gets in a Nasty Plot. However, all this doesn’t stop him from caring about Lina or even his fellow teammates – they took him in after a falling out with his old group. He once hung out with a bunch of other Pokémon also named after certain Empire Souls characters, but he discovered the Gengar leading the group, Xemnas, took the parallels far too seriously, and so he left.
