Samael

Samael is Lillith's Seviper.

Personality

Samael is a fairly relaxed Pokémon who doesn't seem to be easily bothered by stuff, although he is somewhat uncertain of how to be a trainer's Pokémon as he had never really planned on travelling with a trainer. He is also fond of food, although perhaps not to same extent as his trainer.

As a Shadow Pokémon, Samael didn't particularly take Lillith seriously and often expressed a desire to eat smaller Pokémon, mainly Miki.

History

Samael was a wild Seviper who one day had an encounter with Melinda and her Chandelure, and ended up as one of the Pokémon imprisoned in Melinda's basement after trying to fight off the Chandelure, but failing. He was kept in one of the caged in the basement for a while, until he, along with Miki, was sent off to Orre after being sold to Cipher. He was turned into a Shadow Pokémon, and was eventually picked to be one of two Pokémon to be given to the two winners at a underground tournament.

Samael was given to Lillith, while the other Pokémon, the Shadow Minccino later known as Miki, was given to DS after the two girls infiltrated and won the tournament. Samael's shadow gauge slowly started being reduced as Lillith used him in battles, and after the first Shadow Pokémon support group meeting led by Bishop, Samael started becoming aware of his condition. Lillith eventually sent Samael off to the Purification Chamber, feeling she wasn't able to purify him fast enough herself, and eventually, Samael was purified and joined Lillith's team.
