Ripley is a female Weavile, and a member of Herbert's team. She is named after Ellen Ripley, the main protagonist from the Aliens film series.

Appearance

Ripley has the appearance of a standard female Weavile.

Personality

Ripley is rude, abrasive, sarcastic and generally something of a jerk most of the time. She has little regard for anyone but herself, even threatening to eat other Pokemon's Eggs at points. Most of her antisocial attitude stems from her dislike of her trainer and authority figures in general. She is also a constant flirt, but hates a cheater and will go out of her way to hurt them.

Abilities In Battle

Ripley generally fights in a hit-and-run style, being too fragile to take more than a couple of hits from most opponents. She much prefers to dodge attacks than having to withstand them. She also seems to have difficulty remembering that Weaviles are better suited to physical rather than special attacks.

History

Ripley was caught by Herbert on Route 216 as a Sneasel, where she was living before he arrived. She has grugingly accompanied Herbert on his adventures across Orre, Kanto, Almia, and Unova. She assisted in clearing out Unity Tower of Dream World mons, though she was injured in the process and had to be rescued by Dihrao, forming the basis of their unsuccessful relationship.

Later, she took a liking to Rogue, and after a tryst in the Lentimas Pokemon Center, produced an egg. The egg later hatched into a daughter named Newt. Rogue also gave her a Razor Claw, which she used to evolve into a Weavile in Lentimas Town.

Relationships

Ripley deeply dislikes Herbert, though whether or not this is due to a simple hatred of authority or more personal reasons is unknown. She often goes out of her way to make his life difficult, disobeying orders in battle and generally being a nuisance.

Despite her antisocial nature, she seems to have an odd friendship with Kirk, and the two often trade barbs with each other when they are together. Other than that, she believes Maul to be insane and avoids him, views Bishop as nothing more than a brown-nosing suckup, and dislikes interacting with Leia and Wrex.

She had a crush on Dihrao, but it fell apart when she learnt about his cheating nature and his fling with Nymph. She has harboured a dislike for the two since, even threatening to eat their Egg.

Ripley also shows a softer side to Rogue, and usually turns a blind eye to his constant giggling and possible insanity.
