• George was named after George Harrison of the Beatles, which, along with Paul, John, and Ringo, makes him one of the four Beatlemons. Like the other Beatlemons, the name serves as a pun on his Bug typing. However, George Harrison himself was often cited by many fans as "the quiet one", not really saying much in interviews and being the Beatle that is currently known the least about by fans and critics. George the Centiskorch is the most taciturn of all four Beatlemons when talking to anyone that is not a member of the Beatlemons.
• According to Goldenheart388, George's Hasslemon handle is selectivePareidolia (SP), which serves as a reference to both George's selective mutism (he only speaks in one-word snippets to most people, but can fluently communicate with Paul, John, and Ringo) as well as his love of patterns and seeing things in objects, known as pareidolia.
