Scarlett is Joseph's Lilligant. She is named after Scarlett O'Hara, a Southern Belle that Lilligants bear a passing resemblance to.

Personality

Much like her trainer, Scarlett is cheerful and naive. Also like her trainer, she hates loud arguments and fights, and usually releases Sleep Powder to calm the arguers down. She immediately likes anybody that Joseph does; however, when angered, she is very vindictive and holds one heck of a grudge.

Abilities in Battle

Scarlett doesn't have a terribly wide movepool, but she makes the most of what she has. Her usual tactic in battle is to release a cloud of Sleep Powder before using Quiver Dance. When Scarlett is sufficiently boosted, she uses Petal Dance or Giga Drain.

History

After Joseph left the Day Care Center on Route 3, the couple gave him four eggs. Scarlett hatched from one of those eggs, and the two became fast friends. With her and the other hatched Pokemon, Joseph started his journey, somehow ending up in Johto and meeting the team.

Due to an incident with a trainer and his overleveled Arcanine, Scarlett is terrified of fire, and only recently started to trust Fire-types.

Relationships

Scarlett categorically adores Joseph, and the two are never seen without each other.

Scarlett is very good friends with Joseph's entire team, especially Nightshade.

After a particularly stinging tirade against her by Felis, Scarlett hates the Liepard, glaring at and antagonizing him whenever she can.
