Ozzy

Ozzy is Kimberly Bond's Corviknight and the eleventh Pokemon she acquired on her journey, as well as her sixth to be caught in the Galar region.

Personality

Ozzy is more or less a Corviknight version of his Trainer: being just as intelligent, sophisticated, and strategic as Kimberly Bond herself. He has an affinity for scientific names, and will often refer to a Pokemon by their scientific name upon seeing them for the first time. He also has a tendency to refer to Kim by her full first name, "Kimberly," presumably as a result of his sophisticated demeanor. Kim herself has flat-out referred to him as a Pokemon version of herself on a few occasions. He is used by Kim to scan the sky on multiple occasions, and on that front he also excels, having absolutely impeccable eyesight that allowed him to see both the city in Drannith and the entire puzzle room of the Gym Challenge, which certainly helped Kim during her Gym Puzzle in Hulbury Stadium. The same puzzle also revealed that Ozzy has very much the same affinity for patterns that Kim does: he was able to memorize the entire Gym Stadium Puzzle pattern mere moments after hearing it. In addition, out of all of the members of Kim's team, he is the one who is the most likely to call Kim out for any potential mistakes in judgement; Kim has previously stated that Ozzy's glares are so powerful as to easily rival Colton's, and has compared him to Colton on more than a few occasions.

However, there is another very important aspect to Ozzy's personality that cannot be overlooked- his almost knight-like devotion to his Trainer and to the masses, and his refusal to let anyone die no matter what. This was most prominently shown in Ikoria, when Ozzy was looking around for a city-- and found one, one that was being attacked by mutant giant Pokemon. Upon seeing that the city contained people, Ozzy sprang into action, setting up giant Protect barriers, pecking a giant Dugtrio in the eyes, and fiercely challenging all of the mutant Pokemon while spreading his tiny wings to protect the city. His desire to protect the city got even stronger, however, when he noticed Kim heading straight towards it. Refusing to let her die, he evolved into a Corvisquire to protect her, in perhaps his strongest display of loyalty. In battle, Ozzy is a full-blown strategist, taking into account every one of his moves to pull off a sure victory- and taking into account all of his opponents' moves as well. His most well-known strategy in battle is to perform Hone Claws- a move which raises the Attack stat- three times in a row, before letting loose with Power Trip- a move that gets more powerful the more times the stats are raised. Ozzy used this strategy to nearly defeat Geddy in his capture battle (though he didn't take Sing into account), before using it against Milo's Gossifleur to knock her out when she was least expecting it. He also used it during Kim's battle against Bede to take out his Galarian Rapidash, which is also the moment when his evolution into a Corviknight happened. He has a very strong upper-class British accent.

• Ozzy was named after Ozzy Osbourne, lead singer of Black Sabbath and the so-called "Prince of Metal", due to his Flying/Steel typing; Black Sabbath is also Ozzy's favorite band in-universe.
