Shiranui was the mother of the current Ho-oh, and the grandmother of Nix, who was active 100 years before the events of the Conquest Arc where she moonlighted as a white Arcanine. She ended up dying after sustaining mortal injuries fighting Lechku and Nechku in order to save Oki's life.
