Sunny is Mezzo's Umbreon.

Appearance

Sunny is smaller than normal for an Umbreon, leading Felis to joke about him being "the runt of the litter". Felis has since used "runt" as a semi-affectionate nickname for him.

Personality

Sunny is generally cheerful, idealistic, and optimistic. He is also a romantic who believes that love can solve any problem. He has a tendency to see romantic pairings in anything. He also believes in helping anyone in need, regardless of the situation.

Sunny is much sturdier than his small size would suggest, and has excellent defensive capabilities. However, his offensive power is extremely weak.

History

Sunny originally belonged to Forte along with the rest of his family, but was given to Mezzo as a gift about 1 year ago. Forte gave Sunny away because at the time he thought he should work on only training a team of six. Since Forte received Stella, he has reconsidered this.

Achievements

• Is a Soul of Silver.
• The only member of Mezzo's team who can read. Like the rest of his family, he was taught by Shadow.
• Is the author of a number of fanfics about the rest of the people and mons on the team, under the name MidnightSun197.
• Once guided Wolf on an adventure across the Orange Islands, offering exposition and advice.
• In the AU, he was named Hero of Ideals and awakened Zekrom from his slumber.
• Was once used as a tinfoil hat to prevent DS from reading Mezzo's thoughts in her Espeon form.

Relationships

Sunny is the youngest of Icicle's six children.

Sunny and Kensei are in a romantic relationship. Of course, Sunny has written a fic featuring them together.

Sunny and Felis are friends, despite appearances.

In the AU

Sunny is an Espeon in the AU. After Forte died, he and Shadow were found by Mezzo and brought into her army. Sunny ran away to join the resistance, but was captured and brought back to Black City. Shadow had a change of heart and freed him shortly before Napoleon's attack on Black City, and they escaped to the Entralink together. After they regained their OT memories, they helped Mezzo do the same. When the Dark Stone was brought to Sunny, his idealism awakened Zekrom, making Sunny the new Hero of Ideals.
