Moves With Unique Appearances

These moves feature a unique look or style, but their normal effects.

• Ares's Psyshock takes the form of a Javelin that he tosses.
• Ares's Calm Mind takes the form of manifesting a Psychic Armor and Sword.
• Audrey's Bone Rush: Uses a staff made from Aura.
• Azumarill's Dig: The second portion consists of an uppercut.
• Butterscotch's Dark Pulse, Night Daze, Flamethrower, and Focus Blast: All bright yellow instead of their normal colors.
• Chariot's Trick-or-Treat: Forces the opponent into an illusion of a pumpkin carriage.
• Cinnamon's Powder Snow and other attacks: All generate red ice instead of their normal colors.
• Demyx's Snarl: Consists of him playing a particularly grating tune on his sitar.
• Draca's Fire Blast: Can take the form of the kanji for fire, 火.
• Felis' Taunt: Is an insult.
• Felis' Snarl: Is a vitriolic rant.
• Geb's Earthquake: Caused by laughing like the god he's named after.
• Gilgamesh's Stone Edge creates a dimensional portal akin to the Gate of Babylon from Fate/Stay Night.
• Helmsman's Swords Dance coats both his seamitar and side of the field with water via creating a geyser-esque eruption around himself.
• Hydreigon's Taunt: Consists of challenging roars.
• Lake's Protect: Is gold in color.
• Lightning's Brick Break: Uses her tail rather than a hand.
• Lyra's Psycho Cut: Takes the form of various pink, bladed, Aura Construct-like weapons, like a rapier or kunai.
• Magtail's Coil: Coils around the opponent like Wrap, but without doing damage.
• Minty's Air Slash: Is green instead of its normal color.
• Nitro adds at least some oddity to almost all attacks, particularly Ice Beam.
• Raru's Shadow Sneak, rather than disappearing into the shadows and re-appearing behind the target, involves Raru coating himself in a shadowy aura and punching the ground, where a shadowy copy of himself would then appear behind the target.
• Rei’s Foul Play is an Izuna Drop.
• Ripley's Ice Punch: Uses claws formed from ice.
• Roy’s Flare Blitz, rather than being a charge, is instead a Blaze Kick that creates an explosion that damages him as well, akin to overcharging his Neutral-B in Smash Bros.
• Shadow's Shadow Ball: Is shaped like a spear instead of a ball.
• Sunny's Screech: Is more of a Squee.
• Sunny's Snarl: Is a dramatic speech about the power of love.
• Sunny's Taunt: Is a call to attention: ex. "Hey! You should fight me!"
• Sylveon's Hyper Voice is a complaint about her situation.
• Sylveon’s Psyshock has her strike at the opponent with Reflect and/or Light Screen, should they be raised, otherwise it will be no different than from normal.
• Xel'lotath's Psybeam and other attacks: All bright green instead of their normal colors.
• Yin's Taunt: Is a prediction of doom.
• Zorro's Night Slash: The Obscura energy is focused into a rapier blade shape.
