Personality/Bio

As Ren's first pokemon, he's fiercely loyal and highly protective to him. Rio shows respect to anyone who he perceives a "friendly". After Ren's accident, Rio sticks close to Ren, seeing himself as a bodyguard only leaving his side for battles or appeals. While Rio may have a strong sense of right and wrong, don't expect him to actively go and stop a mugging unless Ren wants to stop it as well - unless the mugger is tottering on the edge of a Moral Event Horizon. Rio is also one of Ren's star contest pokemon. Rio is used for making appeals in the Tough category.
