Makenna is Silent's Houndoom♀ that he had in his team before joining PEFE. She was acquired in Bloomingvale Town, Johto, when her pack separated and spread across the city due to shortage of food; eventually Makenna started trailing Silent around because she saw how well-kept Pokéteco's plumage was, and was eventually caught.
When Silent went off to work at PEFE some years later, he left Makenna in one of the PEFE offices in Kanto, where she lives and raises pups as of Kanjoh-2.
In Silent's Fic!Verse
Her story in her original incarnation is similar, though of course the locations differ. After evolving, Makenna quickly gains power and repeatedly tries to take over Inka as the leader of the team, leading to various confrontations. Despite this the two Pokémon deeply respect each other. When Silent finally releases Inka, Makenna steps aside from the role of leader as well leaving this position to Pokéteco, and shortly after she asks for release to dedicate herself to a nascent pack near one of the PEFE Storage houses.
In this continuity, Makenna earns Silent the wins against the two last members of the Elite Four before he has to face the Champion. Eventually Silent challenges the Johto E4 as well, with Makenna beating half of Karen's team and earning Silent the final victory before he has to face Lance.
Not too long after earning their first Championship Makenna is given to raise a young Eevee cub, whom she names Timliz. Not having time for a family of her own, Makenna raises the cub as her own child, teaching him Charm, which she herself acquired by imitating some errant Pokémon who said to have come from Orre.
One day Silent is summoned to a very important battle. Makenna is among the first mons to arrive and manages to hold her own despite her relative lack of training. After the rest of the mons arrive, Makenna takes the role of protecting Silent and other humans while Inka deals with the menace at hand; however after Inka is taken down and the menace chases after them, the already tired Makenna is the first one to fall defeated.
