Cobalt is Tagg's Metagross and the final member to join his main Hoenn team, having been a gift from Steven Stone to Tagg for beating him. He became a Metang and later Metagross by fusing with other members of his species, forcing Tagg to stay in a cave for a month while he got used to his new body. Extremely logical, powerful, and very good with kids, surprisingly for a species with a fair amount of aggression, he serves as one of the heavy hitters on Tagg's team as well as its greatest mastermind.

- Helped Tagg win the Mt. Battle challenge.
- Demolished a bunch of poachers attacking Tagg, Tracer, and Silent in Unova.
- Found Neptune through finding his Houndoom in the Dream World, a process that took a very long time.
Trivia
- Cobalt was the first Beldum Line member to appear in the RP.
