Cobalt is Tagg's Metagross and the final member to join his main Hoenn team, having been a gift from Steven Stone to Tagg for beating him. He became a Metang and later Metagross by fusing with other members of his species, forcing Tagg to stay in a cave for a month while he got used to his new body. Extremely logical, powerful, and very good with kids, surprisingly for a species with a fair amount of aggression, he serves as one of the heavy hitters on Tagg's team as well as its greatest mastermind.
