Umbramatic (usually known to as Umbra; real name Joseph Nox) is a High Preist of Giratina from Shadedrake Island, born with the gift and curse of immortality thanks to some precursor tweaks. He once specialized in Ghosts, but expanded to other types fairly quickly.

Trivia

• As the Ghost Lord, Umbra had a great fondness for pickles. Now he can't stand them. This may have something to do with Yveltal's claim some souls look like pickles.

• Umbra sometimes gets paranoid that everyone hates him, and needs someone to reassure him that it isn't so, though this died down when Ammy returned from Ransei.

• Umbra gets mad at people who cut in line, to the point he banished people to the Distortion World for it in the Ghost Lord days.

• Umbra has a tendency to stay up late because he enjoys the quiet.

• After his final defeat and self-dethroning as the Ghost Lord, Umbra retained an extreme phobia of Arcanine - specifically, white Arcanine. It went away when he finally learned who the White Arcanine who defeated him really was.

• Umbra has a collapsible picture frame with a picture of himself and Ammy in it that he takes with him everywhere, and keeps it by his bed when she's away.
